Opening in Private Practice.
Following four years of rigorous training and mandated placement practice, Rebecca made the decisive move to establish her own private practice in 2016. The practice continues to thrive today, with Rebecca continuing to evolve and build on the needs of clients difficulties brought into therapy.
To date, there are very few areas of concern with which Rebecca has not engaged, thereby ensuring her capacity to assist clients in achieving their therapeutic objectives.

Continuation of Practice.
Prior to the onset of the global pandemic, Rebecca actively pursued research to enhance her therapeutic skill set. She acquired expertise in Couples Therapy and Internal Family Systems, while deepening her comprehension of interventions related to Trauma, PTSD, and Complex PTSD (CPTSD).
In 2020, Rebecca became an operational member of Kent Search and Rescue (KSAR), collaborating with Kent Police in the search for high-risk missing individuals within the county. Currently, she continues her service with KSAR as a Trauma Support Practitioner, holds the position of Safeguarding Lead, and serves as a Team Leader and Search Planner during deployments.
Continuation of experience.
During 2022 to 2024, Rebecca was appointed to the position of Trauma Therapist within the Police Force. During her tenure, she maintained her private practice on a part-time basis, providing critical support to high-risk clients. Following a commendable journey within the force, was honoured with the Divisional Commanders Award for her contributions.
In Rebecca's 10th year of Private Practice she is committed to offering flexible appointment availability throughout the week, tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual.
The practice is situated in a private rural setting for in-person consultations, with Zoom serving as the online platform for those located further afield. Additionally, telephone consultations are also available.

From September 2025
In September 2025 I will be introducing Florence to clients within the practice. Florence is a red cocker spaniel, and she will be 4 and a half months old as she commences her training as a therapy dog.
Florence's wellbeing is very important, so she will not be available to all clients straight away. She may be in the room, but taking one of the 18hours of sleep breaks she needs.
Florence is a natural therapy dog, she loves tummy tickles, humans and has a calm and gentle temperament. I was present at her birth, being the first to hold her and I have no doubt she will assist many people needing support on her journey.
